Forgiveness

Forgiveness: the act of forgiving.  Forgiving: showing forgiveness; inclined or ready to forgive.  Forgive: pardon, absolve; to give up resentment of.

There are many moments experienced throughout the year providing opportunities to forgive.  As a society, we have created an annual ritual of holidays that seems to stuff and cram most of those opportunities into a box of neatly wrapped weeks of increasing and long avoided anxieties.  These anxious little gremlins show up in the form of time management crunches, facing unspoken conflicts, too much company, not enough company and perhaps financial strains that create stagnation in our participation of flow.

We often enter these calendar of days with anticipatory joy, end them with gratitude they are over, then turn to face the fresh hope of a new and different year.  Why?  Why the anxiety?  Why, when we are walking our path and know forgiveness is the way to peace, do we still find it difficult to stand before our unspoken adversaries of family, friends, co-workers, time, finances, traditions and, ultimately, our selves?

Forgive: to give up resentment of.  It is not so easy to “give up: something.  Alcohol, cigarettes, chocolate, love…what makes us think it is so easy to give up resentment?  Well, I suppose the first thing we need to forgive is our misunderstanding of what we are to forgive!

Moving through the aftermath of perceived injustice is difficult as we contemplate experienced unfairness and pain.  There is another choice.  Cut to the heart of the matter.  Through working at the level of vibration within the body, I have come to experience the completion of an anger, resentment, difficulty or misunderstanding through forgiving the vibration of the conflict itself.

All in life is vibration.  Vibrations are in harmony or conflict.  Forgive the vibration of conflict to bring the vibrations into harmony.  Remove the faces, names, issues and all the details that go with our drama.  Forgive the conflict at its true source – the vibration.

All in life is vibration.  Vibration is in conflict or harmony.  It is not the act of an injustice that creates the conflicting vibration.  It is the conflicting vibration that creates the conflict we experience as injustice or human drama.  No one does anything to anyone unfairly without a foundation of vibration that is in conflict.

If you so choose, you can name the vibration that is in conflict – doubt, insincerity, betrayal, etc.  To be effective, it is necessary to become quiet, bring the situation or person to heart, ask to know the vibration(s) to be forgiven, and then allow them to surface.  Doing so, allows you to bypass the human mind that thinks it knows the problem to delve into the truth of what lies underneath in your unseen world.

Forgiveness:  the act of forgiving.  As we walk into our holiday weeks, we are walking into the greatest gift we have created for ourselves – the opportunity to Forgive.

Wishing you peaceful and loving holidays – at the level of vibration!
